ABOUT ME

My name is Luis Alejandro Morales, I am a Civil Engineer specialized in water resources. My experience focused on the development of hydraulics, hydrological and hydrodynamics numerical models of complex physical hydrosystems. I am particularly interested in the development of computational models to assist the design and construction of infrastructure projects in river basins. I am also interested in the assessment of climate change effects on water resources systems and in the implementation of mitigation and adaptation plans.

I complement my experimental and theoretical skills with the use of computational languages to program mathematical models to recreate physical processes in hydrosystems. I combine my technical skills with proven management and administrative abilities. I have led infrastructure projects related with the treatment of waste water and the supply of fresh water. During my career I have been in charge of the supervision of the quality control of sewer and aqueduct construction in urban zones. Also, I have participated in important projects to design the infrastructure of water supply networks in rural places.
